Mentre l’Autavia utilizzava i tradizionali CONTATORI per i minuti (a ore 12) e le ore (a ore 6), il Monte Carlo presenta un contatore numerico di 12 ore in una “finestra” nella parte inferiore del quadrante. Heuer annunciava con orgoglio che il nuovo registro centrale (per i minuti) e il disco saltante (per le ore) assicuravano “la più grande leggibilità mai trovata in un cronometro”.
Questa versione del Monte Carlo ha 2 pulsanti e quadrante nero con grafica bianca in ottimo stato di conservazione!

In 1958, Heuer introduced the Monte Carlo 12-hour dash-mounted stopwatch to replace the Autavia. Where the Autavia used traditional round recorders for the minutes (at 12 o’clock) and hours (at 6 o’clock), the Monte Carlo features a 12-hour numerical counter in a “window” at the bottom of the dial. Heuer proudly announced that the new central register (for minutes) and jumping disc (for hours) assured the “greatest legibility ever found in a stopwatch”. This Monte-Carlo version has two pushes and a black dial with perfect white graphic!
