Rolex Extremely Rare Single Button Oyster "Centregraph," Ref. 3462, from the 30s

Price upon request

The Rolex Centregraph Chronograph ref. 3462 was introduced in the late 1930s as part of Rolex's efforts to innovate and refine the chronograph market.
This model emerged during a period when wristwatches were transitioning from being mere timekeeping devices to multifunctional instruments, particularly valuable for scientific and professional applications.
Equipped with a mirrored minute track, the design of Ref. 3462 was certainly designed to ensure legibility in a variety of light conditions, as evidenced by the large, and originally very bright, hour markers and blued steel hands.
Rolex’s signature robust construction style is also evident in the ref. 3462’s stainless steel monopusher case, which provided durability and protection for the manual-wind cal. 10 1/2''' movement inside.
The proposed example is in excellent condition and the dial patina is nice and homogeneous.
To the best of our knowledge, no more than 50 examples of the Centregraph were produced, available exclusively in stainless steel, which undoubtedly makes this reference rare and exclusive.
This watch can be purchased directly from our shop in Lugano, Switzerland, or online.
Worldwide shipping by Fedex insured courier in 24/48 hours.
