The Rolex Submariner 5513 sees the light of day in 1962, when it goes alongside ref. 5512 offering itself as a cheaper version without the chronometer certificate.
Aesthetically very similar to the Submariner 5512, it has a very long career ending only in 1989.
This beautiful specimen is distinguished by an uncommon “serif” dial, which refers to the pointy extensions at the corners of the 3, 6, and 9 o’clock hour markers as well as at the top corners of the triangular 12 o’clock marker, with a warm and homogeneous patina.
