Il primo Royal Oak (Ref. 5402) fu disegnato da Gerald Genta e commercializzato a partire dal 1972. Dopodiché nel 1992, in occasione del ventesimo anniversario, Audemars Piguet produsse un’edizione limitata di 1000 pezzi, meglio conosciuta come il Royal Oak “Jubilée” (Ref. 14802). 20 di essi erano in platino, circa 280 in oro giallo e i rimanenti 700 in acciaio. È anche il primo Royal Oak “Jumbo” (39mm) con fondello in zaffiro che permette di intravvedere l’intero movimento extra-piatto (cal. 2121) e soprattutto il rotore in oro giallo 21K, numerato in corrispondenza alla serie limitata dell’orologio. Questo bellissimo Royal Oak è in condizioni perfette ed è completo di scatola originale in legno dalla forma ottagonale che richiama il design della ghiera e riporta il numero dell’orologio. È inoltre accompagnato da tag, dal certificato d’autenticità Audemars Piguet, service AP nel 2019 e da nostra garanzia sul meccanismo per 1 anno. Meraviglioso pezzo da collezione! The very first Royal Oak (Ref. 5402) was designed by Gerald Genta and first introduced in 1972. Then in 1992, for the 20th anniversary, Audemars Piguet produced a limited edition of 1000 pieces, the so called Royal Oak “Jubilée” (Ref. 14802). 20 of them were in platinum, about 280 in yellow gold and the remaining 700 in stainless steel. It is also the first Royal Oak “Jumbo” (39mm) with sapphire back that allows to see the entire extra-thin movement (cal. 2121) and especially the 21K yellow gold rotor, numbered according to the limited serie of the watch. This beautiful Royal Oak is in perfect conditions and complete with the original wooden box in octagonal shape, recalling the Royal Oak bezel and with the number of this piece. Further, it is accompanied by the original tag, the Certificate of Authenticity Audemars Piguet, service AP in 2019 and also our warranty on the mechanism for 1 year. Wonderful piece for collectors!
